At Soundsessions we are very aware that there are very little good quality music provisions out there for learners with special educational needs. We use sound and music technology to allow individuals to express themselves. With help from us this is a fun and exciting opportunity for everyone involved.

Our staff have experience teaching learners with many types of learning and physical disabilities. Our aim is to deliver diverse programmes that would best suit your learners requirements and to enable participation for all involved.

We have various fun methods for all participants to get involved with each session.

Students can:

  • Sing along to the karaoke using a microphone. We have been amazed at the degree to which a little biofeedback from a microphone can encourage people to sing. Even people who normally do not communicate verbally will often vocalise when offered a microphone.
  • Create their own music using simple easy to use software.
  • Make use of percussive instruments.
